From guest scheduling and show notes to managing production calendars and writing ad scripts, keeping the Forever35 ship running smoothly keeps me on my toes. 

Just like the perfect cocktail contains the right mix of ingredients, the perfect podcast does too. I edit, mix, sound design, and master The Modern Bar Cart Podcast because post-production is my drink of choice when it comes to podcasts. 

Part of a 4 person team deemed "The Interns," this volunteer-run podcast required editing and mixing a daily podcast that rocks harder than your dad. 

Making happily ever afters for your ears takes a team, and I was delighted to be a part of this one. For Honeymoon For One, Vote For Love, and Showmance, I received and organized all audio for the producers and editors. I even dabbled in some SAG-AFTRA documentation and casting assistance for Showmance. It's love at first listen for me and tape organizing. 

Working with Diplomacy Music, I organized all raw audio and helped lay the groundwork that the rest of the Post-Production team used to craft this distopyian universe with a cast including Susan Sarandon, Michael Imperioli, Nate Corddry, and more!

I challenge you to find a podcast with better tips and tricks to challenge aging. I edit and master this piece because, as Karel and James have been known to say, getting old is a choice. 

Directing begins with casting. From there I assist in ensuring all actor's lines are received and read correctly. I interpret both the script and the actor's takes and design the space and create the world using sound effects, reverb, echo, panning, etc. and finish off with music if the scene demands it, to bring to life the script written by DX Blink.

Seminar is more involved and more traditionally creative. I set the tone and mood of a scene by interpreting a script, choosing actor takes, selecting background music, and adding sound effects. 

Editing long-form content can be tedious to some, but I accept and delight in the challenge. Listening for "ums" and episode theme continuity at the same time is all part of the editing process I love. 

From episode ideation to publishing, I was part of a three-woman team to make our ideas and goals come to life. It was a fulfilling first project, to see something from concept to completion.
